Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the Hotspot/Tethering feature on my device?

Yes! Our eSIM data can be shared with your friends with no limits. You could use all the data in just one day if you need.

Can you explain what eSIM means?

An eSIM serves as a virtual SIM card enabling you to set up a mobile plan with your provider without the need for a physical nano-SIM card.

What steps are involved in eSIM activation?

Activating your eSIM involves a straightforward 3-step process: 1) Specify your destination 2) Choose a data package 3) Scan the QR code using your device.

Could you outline the variance between a physical SIM and an eSIM?

A physical SIM is a tiny chip placed into your phone whereas an eSIM, being digital, facilitates activation of a cellular plan from your provider without the necessity of a physical nano-SIM card.

How can I confirm if my phone is eSIM-compatible?

Check out our dedicated page to view the array of eSIM-enabled devices we support.

Can I receive phone calls or SMS?

If you keep both our eSIM and your primary SIM turned on, you will receive phone calls and SMS on your primary SIM. IMPORANT: You can incur in roaming fees from your carrier. Our eSIM are data only and do not support phone calls or SMS. But you can use apps like WhatsApp, Skype, Viber, etc. to make calls.

Do I need to enable roaming settings?

Yes, the eSIM needs the roaming settings to be enabled. On iPhone devices you can enable it by going to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Roaming > Voice & Data. On Android devices you can enable it by going to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Advanced > Roaming. IMPORTANT: Make sure to enable the roaming settings ONLY on the eSIM, not on your main SIM, otherwise you will incour in roaming fees.

When I try to install the eSIM I receive error 10014 on my Google Pixel Phone

It means that you already have one eSIM installed on your Pixel. Your phone supports only one eSIM at time, please remove the other eSIM before installing ours.
